Being a full-time glass artist has its ups and downs, and honestly, some weeks feel like a juggling act. This past week I’ve been deep in Christmas ornament making — the studio table is covered in glass, ribbon, and little piles of finished pieces waiting for their new boxes. I finally got my new packaging in (and the stickers to go with them), which feels like such a small win, but those little details matter so much when you’re trying to make everything look polished and special.
With market season wrapped up, my focus has shifted. Right now, my main income is through the shops that carry my work and through keeping my online space alive and updated. That means I’m not just making glass — I’m also working on my website, taking product photos, writing content, and trying to keep all the behind-the-scenes pieces running smoothly.
It’s a lot, some days more than others, but at the heart of it, I’m just grateful. Grateful that I get to support my family doing something I love, and that people continue to bring my work into their homes.
