I’m thrilled to share that I was selected as the Provincial Artist for the 2026 Alberta Summer Games! It’s an incredible honour to create commemorative glass giftware that celebrates this exciting event and the talented athletes participating across the province.
For this special project, I designed two handcrafted pieces inspired by the energy, movement, and spirit of the Games. Using my signature fused glass techniques, each piece reflects a balance of colour, texture, and light—capturing the excitement and pride of Alberta’s athletes.
Being part of the Alberta Summer Games is especially meaningful because it allows me to merge my artistic practice with a celebration of community, youth, and achievement.
As a glass artist based in Alberta, this opportunity has also inspired new ideas for my studio work, including playful experiments with colour and form that echo the vibrancy of the Games. I’m looking forward to sharing these new creations with collectors and art lovers alike.
