The 2026 Alberta Summer Games in Strathcona County have officially concluded, and looking back across the studio, I am filled with pride and gratitude. Designing and producing the official commemorative giftware for municipal leaders, athletes, and dignitaries was the largest single commission of my artistic career.

How was the commemorative glass giftware produced?
Working with Strathcona County required a seamless blend of fine art aesthetic and rigorous studio production. Over several months, my studio operated in high-volume kiln cycles—formulating precise glass frits, hand-building heat-resistant molds, and managing multi-day firing schedules to ensure every individual piece met museum-quality standards.
